Dr. Anne Koenig
I am originally from Florence, South Carolina. I graduated from Forsyth, Tuft’s and Harvard’s Dental Hygiene School in Boston. My interest in dentistry continued and I earned my Bachelor of Science from Columbia University in New York. Upon graduation, I practiced Dental Hygiene for five years in a private practice in the Massachusetts General Hospital. In 1980 I received my Doctor of Dental Science Degree from Emory University. I graduated with honors and joined the faculty of Emory University as an associate professor at the dental school.
I taught at Emory University until going into private practice in Roswell, Georgia. I attend continuing education classes every month to stay current in numerous specialties including esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, crown and bridge, dental veneers, teeth whitening, porcelain crowns, periodontics, prosthetics and pain management. This helps me present treatment options that can satisfy your dental needs. I am presently an associate professor at the Medical College of Georgia.
I am widowed with one daughter, Cara and son-in-law Jeff.
What I like about dentistry
I have always liked arts and crafts. Dentistry is both.

I have been married for 25 years and have 3 grown children 2 boys and 1 girl and 2 beautiful granddaughters. What I like about dentistry I love working in the dental field because it is so much fun to see patients smile. My dad always used to say if you see someone without a smile give them one of yours… or get Dr. Koenig to make you one!
Hometown and places I have lived
I grew up in small town in northern Minnesota called Park Rapids. I lived in Minneapolis and now Georgia – but I am a southern girl at heart.
After hours interests
I love to spend time with my best friend and hubby Ted, and my family. I LOVE the beach and traveling.
Shay
I am the newest member to Dr. Koenig's great team! I graduated school in 2018 from Dental Staff School of Marietta top in my class. I am now an official retired college athlete that played softball in GA and AL. I was raised in Cedartown, Georgia and recently moved to Canton with my friend and her sister. My family is my world. I have two brothers and one sister! It is a pleasure working as Dr. Koenig's assistant because of her calm demeanor that resonates throughout the office. Patients feel at calm, and it makes coming to the work much more enjoyable!
What I like about Dentistry
Being able to make our patients feel comfortable and safe with us during procedures.

I was born in Cedartown, GA. Also lived in Cobb County, Cherokee County, and Wadley, AL.

Traveling, spending as much time with friends and family as I can, playing the guitar, and singing.
Nancy
I have worked with Dr. Koenig since 2008. I am a graduate of Clayton State University and have been practicing dental hygiene in the Atlanta area for 31 years.To like to stay current on all dental technologies. I have taken several hundred hours of continuing education and I am committed to offering the highest quality of care to our patients. I have made Alpharetta my home for the last 28 years. I love to travel, golf, snow ski and garden.
What I like about Dentistry
When a patient tells me they've started flossing daily!
